Sally qualified at the Royal Veterinary College, University of London and has been an equine vet since then. Sally initially worked in an equine hospital in Lambourn, Berkshire where she worked with mainly sport horses and racehorses, with the majority of her caseload focussing on lameness and poor performance. Sally later moved to Surrey to take a role within a first opinion ambulatory equine practice.
She went on to work for a global pharmaceutical company, developing knowledge and expertise in equine medicine before joining GVG Brooks Equine. Sally is currently working to further her knowledge in this area, undertaking a Post-Graduate Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice with specialisation in Equine Medicine.
Outside of work, Sally’s time is taken up by her three-year-old daughter and her pony Bubbles, two dogs, two chickens and has recently taken on her own horse, Tim. She is a keen hockey player and occasional runner.
Sally’s main clinical interests lie in investigation, treatment and management of medicine cases, in particular endocrine disorders.
